When the Wäckerle family renovated their home in Winterthur, the need for extensive modernization was paramount. The challenges included upgrading and improving access to a previously unused attic, renovating outdated bathrooms and a kitchen that no longer met modern requirements. Tiling work, electrical installations, a sophisticated lighting concept and painting and plastering work were required to improve the living ambience. In addition, the previously unused basement area was used for additional storage space. The aim was to transform the house into a modern, functional and aesthetically pleasing residence.
